• How man phones can I connect to FiberVoice Digital Phone service?

Number of phone can co-exist on the same phone line is determined by how much power each phone device requires, and this is determined by ringer equivalence number (REN) value of each phone.

Total REN value of all the phone devices (usually marked on the bottom of the phone) connected to the same phone line can not exceed REN 4. Typically the newer phones require less REN than the older ones. For example, the AT&T 210 is a basic phone which does not require an external electrical connection and has a REN of 0.9B, while externally powered electronic ringing telephones may have a value as low as 0.1B.
